Return to Dear Diary

On January 26th 2009 I went flying with Jan Boerop, our next door neighbour and a retired, experienced commercial pilot. In fine weather we made several circuits over the inner Bay and the Waikare Inlet in the Kerikeri Flying Club aircraft NOL - a Tecanah 96. The photos below show some views of the Bay and Yfanwen; due to the angle of the sun in relation to our flight path, dictated by flying height and terrain, reflections on the canopy interfere with some of the images - sorry about that!
Thanks to Jan for taking me up. I am in the early stages of my PPL (at 68!) and it was most instructive to see the natural way in which someone with considerable flying experience handles the aircraft as second nature.
